Business partners Brian Hogan, formerly of Shorty’s Pizza in Tucker, and Patrick Dunn, formerly of Leon’s Full Service in Decatur, plan to open Pea Ridge Kitchen & Bar next month.  

The restaurant will be located in Decatur on Lawrenceville Highway near its intersection with Frazier Road / McLendon Drive.  The 2,200 square foot freestanding building was most recently home to Country Cafe, a comfort food eatery that closed months ago.

Bibou is reopening after a four-week-long renovation on May 15, and you’re going to have to follow a lot of rules to eat there.

Prequel, a new space designed to house pop-up and events (located where LivingSocial used to operate a similar venture), now has its own bar. UrbanDaddy has all the details about Brick & Mortar, the house bar for the space.

Remember those Hugh Acheson-Ponce City Market restaurant rumors? Well, the Top Chef judge is not opening a restaurant in the highly anticipated development. He’s opening a coffeeshop, dubbed Spiller Park Coffee. Acheson announced the news via Instagram on Thursday.

Exciting news: we have some updates on the heretofore unnamed Italian BYOB by Townsend Wentz that’s going to be at 23rd and Fairmount (formerly the space occupied by Garden Fresh).
