Look for a new place to get lunch in Alpharetta next month.

Taste…a Seasonal Bistro is set to open in the Rivermont Station Shopping Center at 8465 Holcomb Bridge Road in the space previously occupied by Korean restaurant Olee’s Kitchen, ScoopOTP first reported. Olee’s closed in October 2017.

Farm Burger to open its fifth Atlanta location next month

Atlanta-based burger restaurant Farm Burger is coming to Grant Park.

The eatery’s fifth local location is set to open next month at The George multi-use residential building at 275 Memorial Drive. The fast-casual spot also has locations in Decatur, Buckhead, Dunwoody and Mercedes-Benz Stadium, with restaurant outside the state in North Carolina, California, Alabama and Tennessee.

The Counter closes in Roswell

Roswell is out one fast-casual place for burgers.

The Counter, which opened in 2008 at 850 Mansell Road, closed last week, according to Tomorrow’s News Today. The phone number listed for the restaurant has been disconnected and the location is no longer listed on The Counter’s website.

The Roswell eatery, which opened in 2008, was the only Georgia location of the California-based chain. There are also restaurants in California, Arizona, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, New York, Texas and Virginia.

Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q’s “Que’ Osk,” the standalone barbecue kiosk that opened in October 2016, will launch breakfast at its Armour Yards outpost beginning Feb. 19.

Fox Bros. will hold preview breakfast pop-ups at the Freedom Farmer’s Market at the Carter Center on Jan. 13, Feb. 3 and Feb. 10, with co-owners Jonathan and Justin Fox dishing up fare for those with a morning hanker for Tex-Mex.

New Buckhead gelato shop offers freebies this Saturday

Amorino, a European gelato shop known for its rose-shaped scoops of gelato and sorbet, will offer free gelato for a couple hours this Saturday.

On Jan. 13, patrons will receive a free regular size cup or cone from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Amorino location in the Shops Buckhead Atlanta, which opened late last month. No purchase is necessary.

The Italian chain opened a location in Lenox Square Mall in 2016 and also has locations throughout the globe, in France, England and Germany and in U.S. cities  Chicago, Boston, New York and Atlanta.

According to a source associated with Metrotainment Cafes, Cowtippers has not been sold to a developer. The company still owns the property at 1600 Piedmont Avenue NE and will likely turn the space into an events venue following the restaurant’s closure while the company weighs its options.

One Rooster Mongolian Bar has closed in West Midtown after less than a year.

The create-your-own stir fry restaurant from Atlanta restaurateur Mike Blum  opened in February 2017 at 1016 Howell Mill Road NW. The space is also the former home of Blum’s previous — and similar — concept, The Real Chow Baby. The closure was first reported by Tomorrow’s News Today.

Marietta started the new year with one less spot for breakfast and brunch.

The last day of business for Cafe 33 — located at 2520 E. Piedmont Road — was New Year’s Eve. The restaurant addressed the closure on its Facebook page:

On a comment thread on the page, a spokesperson for the restaurant attributed the closure to low foot traffic and issues with a landlord. They said they hope to open in a new location in the future.
