The Deep End, the late-night taco spot from the team behind  The Pinewood in Decatur and The Mercury at Ponce City Market, opened earlier this week and is celebrating with a grand opening party starting at 5 p.m. tonight. Krog Street Market to get sweeter with new candy stall

We’re sweet on the upcoming addition to Atlanta food hall Krog Street Market.

Sweet Inman’s Candies  is set to open later this month, and will serve as Krog Street Market’s final stall tenant.

The 1,000-square-foot stall will “boast a metropolitan feel with bold colors throughout while standout tile flooring creates a delightful contrast to the usual concrete found inside the market,” according to a press release.

A funny thing happened after Broadway Diner closed its doors — a chef snapped up the space with designs on turning it into a comedy club and restaurant.

Nicholas Lambrou plans to open Peachtree & North at 620 W. Peachtree St. NW, What Now Atlanta reports. Three Georgia restaurants — two in Atlanta — are among the nation’s must-visit restaurants, according to a new ranking.

Food site Eater has released its America’s 38 Essential Restaurants list as compiled by critic Bill Addison, and the much-lauded  Miller Union and Staplehouse both made the cut. Staplehouse is new to the list, while Miller Union has made appearances in the past. Savannah spot The Grey is also new to the list.

In early 2016, Paces Properties purchased the Grant Park property at 588 Woodward Ave., at the corner of Woodward Ave. and Boulevard, with long-term plans to add new restaurants and other amenities to the neighborhood.

Now comes word that Manny’s Grant Park Pub, a new bar and restaurant concept from longtime Atlanta barman Manuel Maloof, who is the grandson of the founder of Manuel’s Tavern, will anchor the development.
