Caffeination Nation: Menagerie Coffee Opens in Old City

menageriecoffeelrg.jpgMenagerie Coffee opened today at 18 S. 3rd Street in Old City, a place where it’s surprisingly hard to find good caffeine options. Minneapolis-based roaster Dogwood Coffee is supplying Menagerie with beanage, and the pastries come from Philly’s favorite RTM bakery, Flying Monkey.

The shop opens up every morning at 7 a.m. and will serve housemade sandwiches on a constantly rotating menu. The lovely ladies behind the project are Elysa DiMauro and April Nett, who honed their coffee-making skills at Bodhi Coffee and Elixr respectively, so you know it’s going to be good stuff.
