Dubbed an American-style wheat ale, Whale Shark Wheat is the latest beer from Atlanta’s Red Brick Brewing Co.

Red Brick partnered with the Georgia Aquarium to create the limed edition offering with the goal of bringing attention to the Aquarium’s marquee species, the endangered whale shark, and a portion of sales will go towards the Aquarium’s whale shark research and preservation efforts.

On Monday, July 13, Chipotle Mexican Grill fans are encouraged to eat at the 29 Atlanta-area restaurants to support The Giving Kitchen, an organization that provides emergency assistance to members of Atlanta’s restaurant community in times of unexpected hardship.

From 6-8 p.m., volunteers from The Giving Kitchen will be present to hand out free swag and provide additional information about the organization at two Atlanta-based Chipotle locations: 2020 Howell Mill Road NW and 3424 Piedmont Road.

Based on total sales from all 29 locations, Chipotle will donate up to $10,000 to The Giving Kitchen.

As a gesture of gratitude to independent restaurants, Restaurant.com conducted a nationwide search then selected 20 restaurants assist. Local patrons nominated Kimi’s Bistro in Atlanta’s Little Five Points. Kimi’s was chosen.
